I want to serve God with a joyful heart, because I believe nothing given to Him will be wasted.
I have been attending Acts Cheras for almost two years. I have been serving on Actstream as well as with Acts Hosts.
Being in this church has really helped me grow in so many ways, especially after Campus Camp 2014 which brought me back to God. I love how bonded and connected everyone is, and the genuine serving hearts of each partner!
I’ve been able to experience new things that I never imagined I would be capable of, such as being involved in the Acts Family games team and building the games! I have also been very blessed through Homes, especially during testimony time, as I’m reminded that everyone has their own testimony of God’s goodness every day.
Serving in Dream Teams has given me confidence and joy in knowing I can touch lives. I’ve also learned to put God first in everything, and to surrender to Him even when things don’t turn out my way. I now give my best in everything I do because while the results may be unexpected, God teaches me so much through the experience.
As this year is the year of double portion, I want to grow in different areas of my life, and to do more of what God wants me to do, be it small routine everyday things, or showing good examples that may touch and impact lives.
